Started with introducing feminist artists in western art history, Tan Chin Kuan discussed about the feminist art movement and the practice of female artists in Malaysia.

Tan Chin Kuan is an accomplished artist besides being a researcher and a writer. He is the author of 《从“无”到“有”— 马来西亚视觉艺术史》 (From “Non-Existing” to “Existing” – Malaysian Visual Arts History). He has founded “The Great Empire of Art”, which is a platform chiefly focusing in research, archival and curatorial developments in fine arts and art history.
