Wong Woan Lee graduated with Diploma in Fine Art from Kuala Lumpur College of Art, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 1994.

Her works were featured In “Masterpieces From The National Art Gallery Of Malaysia” (Published by National Art Gallery, Malaysia, 2002).

Her achievements include winning Bakat Muda Sezaman (Contemporary Art Awards, National Art Gallery, Malaysia) and Philip Morris Malaysia Art Awards in the late 1990s — early 2000s.

Wong has exhibited in Malaysia, Thailand, Japan and Germany. Selectively, they are “Kuala Lumpur Biennale” (National Visual Art Gallery, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 2017), “Absurd(C)ity”(National Visual Art Gallery, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 2013),”Identities Versus Globalisation?” (Heinrish Boell Foundation, Thailand and South East Asia Regional Office, Dahlem Museum, Berlin, Germany, 2005) and “The Beppu Asia Contemporary Art Exhibition” (B-Con Plaza, Beppu Art Museum, Oita, Japan, 2003).
